ICC High Performance Programme (HPP) was launched in 2001 to help the leading ICC Associate Member countries prepare for major competitions. The primary objective of the programme is to close the gap between ICC Full Member and ICC Associate member standards both on and off the field including the area of performance psychology.
Sporting Edge has been appointed as the ICC’s performance partners working with both on and off-field staff. Interventions have included a variety of high impact workshops on topics including:
Mental Toughness and Resilience
Coaching for High Performance
Engagement and Motivation
High Performing Teams
Sporting Edge has also travelled across the world delivering individual and team coaching to a variety of key stakeholders including the ICC, coaches, captain and players. The major playing nations in this programme are Canada, Kenya, Ireland, Holland, Scotland and Afghanistan.
Michael Caulfield has been the lead consultant on this programme for Sporting Edge and has built strong relationships with the key leaders of these teams and as a result learnt powerful lessons into the operating principles of culturally diverse teams.
"Sporting Edge are outstanding performance partners to the ICC High Performance Programme working across varying cultures, geographies and delivering key impact to players, coaches and administrators."
