Mogers Drewett are a successful legal firm based in the South West of the United Kingdom. They are proud to have their roots planted firmly in the South West, and it is the rich history of serving the community that sets them apart from other law firms. They understand the importance of offering forward-thinking legal expertise at a very local level and know the region, the people and their values, making them more in tune to the needs of their clients. They are also sponsors of Pentathlon GB in their quest for Gold at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
Steven Treharne, the Managing Partner based in their Bath office, was keen to bring the team of senior partners together to discuss and debate how they can work effectively as a cohesive team, following expansion within the firm. Structural changes brings inevitable challenges and Steven wanted the team to examine the firms behaviours in a safe but challenging environment, and move forward as a more cohesive unit.
Mogers Drewett asked Sporting Edge to present a full day Masterclass event at the annual partners’ strategy event held off site to ensure there were minimal distractions for the event. The full day partly incorporated Sporting Edge’s High Performing Teams Workshop and their latest research and interviews on understanding and managing stress, building resilience and retaining focus and control via interviews with leading neuroscientists and associated exercises.
The event resulted in the partners engaging in open and challenging exercises on a range of topics from managing individual stress, building resilience, building team cohesion, managing conflict and tension, holding difficult conversations and the purpose and vision for a team.
"Michael’s delivery is exceptional, both in terms of his tone, content and group engagement. I was delighted with the content and outcomes from the day and in particular with the heightened energy and positivity that it created within my leadership team."
