The development of high quality coaches is critical to the long-term success of England Rugby. The Rugby Football Union (RFU) recognises this fact and hosts regular workshops to ensure the continued professional develop for their leading coaches.
The workshops need to be highly interactive and offer participants a new perspective on how to deal with common coaching challenges.
Sporting Edge was invited to Twickenham to host a performance coaching workshop on the following topics:
Engagement and Motivation – focussing on how to get the best out of Generation Y
High Performing Teams – understanding how teams including the South African Cricket team and the All Blacks use their identity to create an emotional competitive advantage.
The workshops included were highly interactive with coaches working together to solve a range of common performance challenges.
"The Sporting Edge Team delivered a stimulating and highly interactive day for a group of the RFU elite coaches. This has undoubtedly impacted our coaching and I would recommend Sporting Edge to deliver improved performance to any coach or manager."
Kevin Bowring – Head of Elite Coach Development, RFU
